SEC to hold a public roundtable on 24-hour equity trading readiness. Announced 23 July, the roundtable is set for 17 September at SEC headquarters (livestreamed), examining exchange technical readiness for overnight sessions, clearing/settlement resiliency and investor protection as U.S. venues push toward round-the-clock trading. It is the Commission's first dedicated public forum on the topic, alongside Nasdaq's SEC-approved 23-hour, 5-day session and DTCC's round-the-clock settlement pilots. SEC press release

NYSE American extends its CUBE price-improvement auction to FLEX options. A rule change effective immediately on filing (published in the Federal Register 24 July) lets single-leg and complex FLEX Options orders participate in the exchange's CUBE Auction. Narrow in scope, but part of the continuing build-out of price-improvement mechanics in listed options. Federal Register notice
