Cboe cuts its error-trade appeal fee. Cboe Exchange, C2, BZX and EDGX amended their fee schedules and Rule 6.5 to drop the standalone $5,000 Catastrophic Error Review Fee, replacing it with a $500 fee charged only when an Obvious/Catastrophic Error appeal is denied — a change to the economics of disputing erroneous trades for market makers and institutional desks. Filed with the SEC and published in the Federal Register 14 September 2026. Federal Register notice
NYSE group adds a smaller co-location cabinet tier. NYSE, NYSE American, NYSE Arca, NYSE National and NYSE Texas each filed a rule change with the SEC adding a 4kW "Partial Cabinet Solution" to their co-location service menus, effective no later than 31 October 2026 — a new, lower-cost connectivity option relevant to HFT and institutional infrastructure costs.
