FINRA pushes back 2024 fee-schedule increases by two years. FINRA filed an immediately effective rule change (SR-FINRA-2026-020) postponing the fee increases adopted in its 2024 Fee Filing — covering the Gross Income Assessment, Trading Activity Fee, Personnel Assessment, Branch Office System Processing Fee and related registration fees — so current 2026 rates continue through 31 December 2028, with the higher schedule now starting 1 January 2029 instead of 2027. Comments due 14 October. Federal Register notice

CSA/OSC's "access equals delivery" model takes effect for continuous disclosure. Final amendments to National Instrument 51-102 and NI 54-101 came into force on 22 September, letting non-investment-fund reporting issuers satisfy delivery obligations for annual and interim financial statements and MD&A by posting them on SEDAR+ and notifying investors electronically, rather than mailing or emailing the documents directly, subject to investor opt-in for paper or direct delivery.
