Gulf
A quiet weekend across the Gulf regulators and exchanges. The Saudi CMA's only move inside the window was approving a brokerage merger (UBS Saudi Arabia into Credit Suisse Saudi Arabia) — a licensing matter, not a rule change — and its open consultations on board-report disclosure and fund-disclosure requirements are unchanged from the prior edition. Nothing new from the DFSA, ADGM/FSRA, DFM, Nasdaq Dubai, SAMA, CBUAE, QFMA or the Kuwaiti authorities this window.
Israel
Nothing new from the ISA, TASE or the Bank of Israel's Banking Supervision Department. The open past-performance disclosure draft and the one-off advisory/alternative-assets directive remain unchanged since their comment periods closed.
Africa
No new rulemaking surfaced from South Africa (FSCA/JSE/SARB), Egypt (FRA/CBE), Nigeria (SEC/CBN), Kenya (CMA/CBK) or Morocco (AMMC/Bank Al-Maghrib) this window. Kenya's payment-system bill consultation and its risk-management and third-party-technology guidance notes remain open with no new development; South Africa's exchange-control circulars and the JSE corporate-governance listing amendment are unchanged since they were last reported.
