ASX confirms CHESS Release 1 is live as FY26 results book the settlement-project's costs. ASX Limited's FY26 results, reported today, show operating revenue up 13.3% to A$1.25bn and underlying NPAT up 5.2% to A$536.4m, but statutory NPAT down 3.5% to A$484.9m after A$51.5m (post-tax) of "significant items" — including the ASIC legal-proceedings penalty and costs from the CHESS-replacement misleading-conduct case, CHESS Replacement Partnership Program expenses, and the loss on the Sympli stake sale. The results confirm CHESS Release 1, the modernised post-trade/settlement platform, is now live; FY27 technology capex guidance is A$180–200m.
