Australia launches national Financial Innovation Strategy. Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services Daniel Mulino launched the strategy in Melbourne on 3 September, responding to the independent review of the Enhanced Regulatory Sandbox led by Maha El Dimachki. It sets a national agenda covering regulatory-sandbox reform, Consumer Data Right work and digital-assets/payments licensing, and directs regulators toward thematic sandboxes including one for digital financial market infrastructure.
