Checked: ASIC's newsroom/media-release index and its 2026 consultation log (no new CP/CS items or numbered media releases since the prior edition); ASX's recent rule amendments and public consultations pages; RBA's media releases page in its clearing-and-settlement/FMI capacity. Two items remain open and unchanged from yesterday, carried here only as status, not news: ASIC's CS 63 consultation on updated RG 265/RG 266 guidance and withdrawal of RG 241 stays open, submissions close 5 November 2026 (ASIC CS 63); and ASX has still not issued the Market Notice confirming completion of the statutory process for the Listing Rule 7.2 Exceptions 6 and 7 amendments (S&P/ASX 300 bidders issuing 25%+ of capital in a takeover/scheme requiring shareholder approval), which are due to take effect 21 October 2026 — worth a closer check as that date nears (ASX consultations and policy submissions). The RBA's most recent Financial Stability Standards assessment of ASX's clearing and settlement facilities remains the September 2026 release; no update to the Standards themselves has been published since.
