Australia

Still no confirmation that ASX's Listing Rule 7.2/7.3B scrip-cap amendments — targeted for 21 October — have actually come into force. ASX's own consultation record repeats only the 21 October commencement plan and its promise of a Market Notice once the statutory process completes; five days on, no such notice has surfaced, so the amendments' status stays unconfirmed rather than in force. Elsewhere, a quiet weekend and Monday for Australia: nothing new from ASIC, the RBA or TMX Australia Exchange (the former Cboe Australia), and no fresh Treasury consultation touching market structure.

New Zealand

Nothing material from NZX, the FMA or the RBNZ this window. NZX's rules-and-guidance channel currently lists no upcoming changes. The FMA's open items remain its custody-of-client-assets review and AI-in-advice thematic review, both unchanged; a reported proposal to consolidate market-services-licence standard conditions could not be pinned to this window and is left for a future edition once its date is confirmed. The RBNZ's open consultations — a bank capital risk-weight proposal and its retail-payments-system work — carry no new publication this window.

Informational only — summaries of public regulatory and central bank sources; not advice.
