Oman's FSA issues the Executive Regulation of the Securities Law. Published in the Official Gazette on 26 July and effective the following day, the regulation implements the Securities Law (Royal Decree 46/2022) across seven chapters covering capital market institutions, licensed operators, credit rating firms, collective investment funds, issuer disclosure and market-integrity provisions, and newly regulates investment banking as a distinct activity. Existing capital market institutions have six months to align; banks conducting securities business get up to three years to spin it into a separate legal entity. FSA decision text
