Egypt's FRA launches IPO-readiness programme for state-owned issuers. The Financial Regulatory Authority, with the Investment Ministry, launched a training programme on 26 July to prepare provisionally-listed state-owned companies for final public offerings on EGX. Delivered by the FRA's Financial Services Institute and the Egyptian Institute of Directors, the first cycle covers listing and disclosure rules and governance for 14 of the roughly 20 companies with provisional EGX listings, ahead of a planned expansion to about 30 more — a regulator-led step in EGX's state-privatisation listing pipeline. Daily News Egypt
No other material new items from South Africa's FSCA/JSE, Nigeria's SEC/NGX, Kenya's CMA/NSE or Morocco's AMMC in this window.
