EU & ESMA
ESMA and the European Commission produced nothing new on the rulemaking front; the mid-October MAR-guidelines streamlining and the tokenised-collateral call for evidence remain the latest word. The ECB's SSM, TARGET2/T2S and collateral-framework channels stayed quiet too.
United Kingdom
A quiet session for the FCA beyond its already-open consultations and routine firm notices. The Bank of England's October PRA Regulatory Digest has still not appeared; September's remains the latest edition.
National & exchanges
Spain — CNMV authorises a DLT trading-and-settlement venue. The CNMV has authorised Bit2MeSTX as a Sistema de Negociación y Liquidación built on distributed-ledger technology under the EU's DLT Pilot Regime — Spain's first such venue, bringing a new kind of equities trading-and-settlement infrastructure under CNMV/ESMA oversight. CNMV notice
Germany, France, Italy and the Nordic markets stayed quiet, and nothing fresh surfaced from SIX or Euronext. No rule move from the Swiss, Swedish, Norwegian or Danish central banks either.
